Dr. Karl’s strong focus on cardiovascular education in the community allowed him to serve as the Vice President of the American Heart Associations’ Fellows Society. In that capacity he worked on passing a bill that requires the teaching of CPR to all high school students as well as creating a public service starring Dr. Oz regarding the importance of CPR.
Dr. Karl is board certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Integrative and Holistic Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Vascular Imaging.
He currently resides in Bergen County with his wife and three children. While not at work, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and is currently training his oldest son to be a future Olympic athlete, albeit unsuccessfully.
